That means a lot. TERFs are so ignorant — and believe me they are definitely coming for this article. There’s remarkable amount on this site and they’ve definitely shown up in the responses for my other pieces. I wrote this because I thought it was time to address them directly; to make sure the ones that have followed me for my feminist/social critic know that they are part of the issue. I think too many cis political writers let TERFs slide because of how active they are, which makes them complicit.
